At the end of the second period, the Mahoning Valley Phantoms lead the Topeka RoadRunners two goals to one.


Topeka’s Bryon Paulazzo tried to sneak the puck out from behind Mahoning Valley’s Chad Boeckman in the second period.

Game 6 Update

At the end of the second period, the Bandits lead the RoadRunners with a score of 4-to-0.


I don’t think these guys realize that it is 40-degrees in here…oh well, more power to them. And talk about luck, I was walking by this group of kids when the Bandits scored.

Bye Bye Blizzard

Mahoning Valley melted Alexandria with a final score of 6-to-1. With the loss to the Phantoms, the Blizzard were eliminated from the Robertson Cup Championship.

Game 3 Update

The Topeka RoadRunners and Alexandria Blizzard are currently tied with two goals a piece going into the third period.


There was a little scrum towards the end of the second period. It took a few moments of wrestling for referee Tom Steinel to get the situation under control. But hey, it made for a good photo so I can’t complain.

Bandits Take Game 2
